Transpersonal integrative psychotherapy

Arriving and slowing down
In our work together, change often unfolds gradually through what happens within the therapeutic relationship itself. You may feel an early sense of relief in having a regular space where you can slow down, feel understood and not hold everything on your own.

Finding space and clarity
Slowing down can feel counterintuitive when you are looking for clarity, yet it often creates the conditions for it. As we slow things down and reflect together, it becomes easier to notice what is happening in the moment, understand your responses and find a direction grounded in your own experience.

Subtle internal shifts
You may notice more space between feeling and response or find it easier to step back from overthinking. There can be a growing sense of what belongs to you and what does not, and more freedom to respond differently - including setting limits, even when discomfort is present. Change is often subtle at first but can become more stable and enduring over time.

Deeper change over time
Over time, psychotherapy can help you feel more connected to yourself, more emotionally steady and clearer in your decisions. Relationships may feel less consuming and more mutual, with a stronger sense of where you stand.

This work can bring a growing sense of resilience and agency - an increased capacity to stay with experience as it is, to be with feelings as they are, and to sit with the ebbs and flows of life with steadiness and confidence.

Integration and resilience
For some people, this may also include exploring experiences that feel deeply meaningful, intuitive or spiritual in nature, always in a grounded and supported way.

How can psychotherapy help me...

My approach

How I work
My approach is integrative, relational and responsive to each person I work with.
________________________________________
Relational and present-focused work
I draw on psychodynamic, Gestalt and person-centred modalities, alongside body awareness and experiential ways of working. Rather than applying just one method, I work flexibly with what feels most helpful in the moment.

I understand emotional difficulties as involving the whole person - mind, body and soul. While talking is important, meaningful change often involves noticing what is felt and experienced beyond words.

Alongside exploring past experiences where relevant, we also work very strongly with what is happening in the present moment in the room.

Working together
At the centre of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I aim to offer a steady, reflective space where your experience can be explored with curiosity rather than judgement.

I see therapy as a collaborative process. You are the expert in your life. My role is to support you in making sense of your experience and developing greater clarity and choice.

Experiential and embodied methods
Depending on your needs, we may also use imagery, guided visualisation, mindfulness, breathwork, parts work, or approaches such as EFT or NLP-informed exploration. These are always used gently and only when they feel supportive.

Trauma-sensitive pacing
We can also work in a way that does not require going into detailed descriptions of difficult or traumatic experiences, allowing you to stay within a pace and level of depth that feels safe and manageable.

Frequently Asked Questions

how long is a session?

Each session lasts 50 minutes

How often will we meet? I would like to have bi-weekly/monthly sessions, is that possible?

I offer weekly sessions, as regularity and consistency are important for therapy to be effective. From experience, weekly sessions give us the time and continuity needed to explore things more deeply and create meaningful, lasting change.

What can I talk about in sessions?

You can bring anything to our session! This is your space and it is free from judgment.

We can talk about relationships, sexuality, gender identity, spirituality, or even bigger worries like the climate or global events. You can also share personal fears, life transitions, work challenges, or questions about purpose and meaning.

Whatever’s on your mind - past, present, or future - your thoughts, feelings, and dreams are all welcome here!

are the sessions confidential?

Everything you share with me is confidential. I also meet regularly with a supervisor, which helps me reflect on my work and support you in the most helpful and attuned way I can. No identifying details are shared, and supervisors are also bound by confidentiality, so your privacy is fully respected.

How long will I need to be in therapy?

The length of therapy depends on your individual needs and circumstances. Wherever you are in your journey, we will always move at your pace. We will regularly review our progress, and if needed, we can adjust our approach to ensure it continues to meet your needs.
